Matthew​  ​ Lane,​  ​ Senior​  ​ Software​  ​ Architect,​  ​ is​  ​ an​  ​ experienced​  ​ technology​  ​ professional​  ​ working​  ​ with​  ​ Connamara Systems​  ​ specializing​  ​ in​  ​ emerging​  ​ technologies.​  ​​  ​ Serving​  ​ a​  ​ wide​  ​ variety​  ​ of​  ​ clients,​  ​ Matthew​  ​ has​  ​ architected​  ​ high performance​  ​ systems,​  ​ designed​  ​ low​  ​ latency​  ​ trading​  ​ platforms,​  ​ and​  ​ implemented​  ​ distributed​  ​ solutions.​  ​​  ​ He works​  ​ directly​  ​ with​  ​ business​  ​ stakeholders,​  ​ tailoring​  ​ technology​  ​ for​  ​ exchanges,​  ​ investment​  ​ banks,​  ​ brokers,​  ​ and hedge​  ​ funds.​  ​​  ​ Matthew​  ​ has​  ​ been​  ​ responsible​  ​ for​  ​ the​  ​ architecture​  ​ and​  ​ design​  ​ of​  ​ some​  ​ of​  ​ our​  ​ industry’s​  ​ top​  ​ next generation​  ​ trading​  ​ platforms.

Matthew​ ​ has​ ​ studied​ ​ cryptography​  ​for​  ​ over​  ​ 10​  ​ years,​  ​ and​  ​ has​  ​ been​  ​ working​  ​ with​  ​ blockchain​  ​ technology​  ​ since 2011​  ​ including​  ​ supervising​  ​ the​  ​ Connamara​  ​ hosted​  ​ Chicago​  ​ Ethereum​  ​ Meetup.​  ​​  ​ Recently,​  ​ he​  ​ has​  ​ led engagements​  ​ with​  ​ startup​  ​ cryptocurrency​  ​ exchanges​  ​ to​  ​ enhance​  ​ their​  ​ technology​  ​ and​  ​ practices​  ​ to​  ​ institutional standards.

Matthew​ ​ holds​  ​ a​  ​ B.S.​  ​ in​  ​ Computer​  ​ Science​  ​ from​  ​ Purdue​  ​ University.
