FICC (Fixed Income, Currencies, Commodities) Committee
The FICC (Fixed Income, Currencies, Commodities) Committee is responsible for overseeing the multi-asset class activities and strategic considerations of the organisation’s Derivatives, Fixed Income and Foreign Exchange Committees, given many of the common and overlapping initiatives in the pre-trade, trade and post-trade space. Market consolidation, regulatory changes often involving multiple asset classes, and portfolio diversification increases the need for a comprehensive view. Leveraging the expertise of these three areas together is a practical step to address required developments. The FICC (Fixed Income, Currencies, Commodities) Committee provides its findings to the Global Steering Committee for consideration in specifications, best-practices, and educational and promotional efforts.
